In this modern era, security systems have become commonplace, from residential homes and small businesses to large enterprises, you cannot go a few steps without being monitored. Previous systems and courses focus on intrusion or fire detection but with advances in technologies these systems have become smart and require an even broader skill set with knowledge of individual manufactures. At Advance Solutions Technical Institute we pride ourselves on having been distinguished in this industry of Electronics and Telecommunication for over a decade, with graduates performing in not just the local but international industry.
Students may enroll with no prerequisite knowledge as this course will give a fundamental understanding of basic electronic components setting the stage for topics such as alarm systems (fire and intrusion), camera/intercoms, networking, cabling, locking systems, (basic) access control and the required skills to interface multiple systems within a network and hub. Students can also pursue additional competencies for the commercial certification in (CAST (C)):
After having completed the base certificate graduates will be capable of the design, installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of fundamental security systems as well as understand and approach more complex/ vendor specific/proprietary systems with the knowledge gained.

After pursuing the base level certification and possibly and its accompanying commercial certification students may go on to pursue further qualifications with the following to broaden their skill set:
